We are in the woods a little away from it all! We suggest you bring some food and groceries with you. There are several small convenience stores close by, but the nearest chain grocery store is 14 miles away. We suggest the Keowee Lake Shop www.keoweelakeshop.com. Jocassee Outdoor Center on Jocassee Lake Rd also has a small eat–in area inside it’s gift/boat/camp store. We will be adding more places as we try them out.
The Market at Keowee Towne www.themarketatkeoweetowne.com (864) 944.8000. Health food grocery shopping and fresh food made daily to eat there or take-out. From cabin take a left onto hwy 11, go approx. 2 miles - will be on right.
Brevard, Cashiers, and Sapphire Valley are popular areas for restaurants and shopping in North Carolina just a 30 to 45 minute drive from the cabin.
Clemson, Greenville, Seneca, and Walhalla in South Carolina can be reached in 20 to 30 minutes.

351 Stamp Creek Rd Salem SC 29676 From Cabin turn right onto Hwy 11. Go 1.2 miles and turn left onto Hwy 130. Follow a few miles into small town of Salem. Pass Post Office on left. Cannones is a little further up on left.
Puerto-Nuevo Mexican and Seafood: 864-638-0096 201 Foothills Center Dr West Union, SC 29696 From cabin turn right onto Hwy 11. Go 14 miles to West Union. Turn right by the CVS and go to buildings behind it. It is larger and much nicer than it looks from the outside. A wide variety on the menu from mexican to steaks to seafood.
New China: Same location as Puerto- Nuevo. 864-718-8882/8881 Order by phone and it will be ready when you get there.
(There is an Ingles, CVS, Ace Hardware, McDonalds, etc at the same intersection.)
