I understand that Bear Pond Cabin has certain rules and guidelines related to the Cabin for the benefit of all its guests, and as a guest I will be subject to those rules. I hereby specifically agree to comply with and abide by all the rules and guidelines of the Cabin, including without limitation, those listed below, while staying at the Cabin.
1. No pets allowed in the cabin or on the premises.
2. No drunken behavior or disorderly conduct.
3. No loud music – please be respectful of others in the area.
4. No smoking inside the cabin and please clean up if you smoke outside.
5. Use of the fireplace is permitted in the months of October through April. We request
that only those who know how to build and take care of wood burning fires use the
fireplace. Do not leave a fire unattended.
6. The pond is private and for the use of owners and their guests.
You may fish from our property which includes the lot the cabin is on and the one to
the left of it. A creek borders each boundary.
7. Use of the boat is restricted to adults only. Children may accompany an adult and
must wear a lifejacket that you bring fitted to their size. You will be given a
combination to unlock the boat. Please return it to its location and lock it when done.
8. No swimming in the pond.
9. Do not allow young children near the pond unsupervised.
10.VISITORS POLICY – No overnight visitors. Occupancy is limited to no more than
6 people. Exceptions may be made in advance(before check-in day) at the discretion
of the owners.
I also agree to the following:
(I) to discontinue, upon request, any activity or conduct that we determine to be
harmful or potentially harmful to the Cabin or nearby residents.
(II) to take full responsibility for any guest staying with me or visiting me at the Cabin,
including, without limitation, being fully responsible for any violation by such
guests to the above rules.
(III) to be responsible for any broken items or damage to the Cabin during my stay.
I understand that having any occupant of the Cabins in excess of six(6) people (except children under the age of 2) must be registered with us and will result in the rental rate for the Cabin increasing by $15.00 per night per additional guest. Rates
The owners of Bear Pond Cabin will not be held liable or responsible for any accidents or injuries to guests or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. If we find any valuables left behind we will return them to you at your expense.
Finally, I understand and agree that any violation of the rules related to the Cabin or any violation of this agreement will terminate this agreement and I will be asked to leave the premises and I will not be entitled to any refund of money. In addition, I acknowledge that no monies will be refunded for early departures, inclement weather, power outages, mechanical failures, road conditions or any acts of God.
